Hello everyone! My experience in childcare dates back many years; my mother was an in-home childcare provider. As a teenager, I began babysitting all of the neighborhood kids. In 2013, I began professionally working with children as a substitute for Wicomico Public County Schools. I loved it so much that I switched my major to Early Childhood Education. I received my degree and continued my education, studying conflict resolution and psychology. I love how little minds work and witnessing the spark in their eyes when they finally understand something they’ve been working hard to learn; it is so rewarding.

 

I love to travel, no matter where I’m going. On the weekends, I enjoy going out and discovering new adventures. When it’s not too cold out, I enjoy going on hikes and being outdoors; these activities always provide a fun time. My dog Molly and I share a love of cuddling inside while watching movies.

 

I am so excited to begin this journey with the amazing staff that we have selected. I’m looking forward to working with the wonderful families who will choose us to care for their little ones. I am especially eager to nurture the children who will be enrolled at Heights to Heights Learning Center. I will strive to create a warm, loving, and safe home away from home for all children, families, and staff members.
